Peterborough Climbing Wall is located in Peterborough Town Sports Club near the Edith Cavell Hospital. It is part owned by the Peterborough Mountaineering Club , but you don't have to be a member to use it.
The Climbing Wall was built by Livingstone and opened to the public in December 1995 by Sir Chris Bonnington, offering state of the art indoor climbing.
The wall consists of easy, gentle slabs for the novices to awesome overhanging walls and roof routes for the expert. There are 20 rope lines with in-situ ropes and about 100+ climbs graded from 3c to 7c.
There areĀ also changing rooms, showers and licensed bar for you to relax in after a strenuous climbing session.
